Privacy Policy

👋 The short version

Clear Days collects only what it needs to work. Your brain dump and your plan are yours. We don't sell your data, ever. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time.

📦 What we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address: used to log you in and, if you opt in, to email you your plan.
• Password: stored as a secure hash by Supabase. We never see or store your plaintext password.

When you use the app, we store:

• Brain dump content: the text (and optional photos) you enter to generate your plan. This is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your plan and is not stored by Clear Days.
• Your generated plan: once your plan is created, it is saved to your account in Supabase. This allows you to return to your plan across devices and is required for the optional nightly email feature. Your plan data is updated automatically as you make changes.
• Recurring tasks: if you mark any tasks as recurring, those are saved to your account so they can be added to future plans automatically.

If you save preferences, we also store:

• Your name (optional), email reminder preference, preferred reminder time, and timezone, saved securely in your Supabase account record.

If you subscribe, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We store your subscription status (active, trialing, cancelled, etc.) so the app knows what you have access to, but we never see or store your credit card details.

🌿 The Simplification Check

When you finish the Simplification Check, we keep an anonymous record of which statements you ticked. That is how we learn what people find hardest, so the questions and the fixes get better over time.

That record contains no way to identify you. Specifically, it does not include:

• Your name, email address or account: nothing links the record back to you.
• Anything you typed in the free text box: the one thing that feels harder than it should. That is the most personal part of the Check, so it is never stored. It is used to write your plan and then it is gone.

What we do keep is the list of tick boxes you selected, whether you chose life or work, and the date. Nothing else.

If you ask for your plan by email, that email is sent to you and not kept. If you unlock the Check with a one time payment, Stripe handles it exactly as above.

🏗️ How it's stored

Account data, plan data, recurring tasks, and preferences are stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database hosted on AWS. Supabase is SOC 2 compliant. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Clear Days itself does not operate its own database server. All data storage is handled by Supabase on our behalf.

🎯 What we use it for

• Letting you sign in and access your plan across devices.
• Generating your plan via Claude (Anthropic's AI).
• Restoring your most recent plan when you return to the app.
• Sending your plan by email, only if you explicitly opt in, and only at the time you choose.
• Injecting recurring tasks into your plan automatically.
• Managing your subscription status via Stripe.

That's it. We don't use your data for advertising, and we never build a profile of you. The only measurement we do is the anonymous Simplification Check record described above, which cannot be traced back to any person.

🤝 Third parties

We share data with the following services, strictly to make the app work:

• Anthropic: your brain dump is sent to Claude to generate your plan. It is not stored by Clear Days. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that interaction.
• Supabase: stores your account data, plan data, recurring tasks, and preferences. Their privacy policy applies.
• Stripe: processes subscription payments. We never see your card details. Their privacy policy applies.
• Netlify: hosts this website. Their privacy policy applies to web traffic logs.

We never sell your data to any third party. Ever.

🗑️ Deleting your account and data

You can request account deletion at any time by emailing sdesilva@solutiongarden.com with the subject line "Delete my account". We'll permanently delete your account, plan data, recurring tasks, preferences, and any other associated data within 7 days.

🍪 Cookies

Clear Days uses only the cookies Supabase sets to keep you logged in (a session token). We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics cookies.
